Positions of Impact

 

  • Shoulders are square to slightly open
  • Arms are fully extended
  • Left hip has shifted and rotated
  • Left leg has straighten
  • Right knee in/ heel leads the toe

Heel from the inside/club from the inside.  Heel from the outside/club from the outside.           

 Hands are forward because body is forward. That’s what creates the divot. It’s a byproduct of the impact position.

Feel your shoulders and hips areā€¦….open and separated.

The impact position is a moment in time. A correct setup leading to a correct backswing will lead to the correct impact position.
